Wildfire Resilient Landscapes & Fuels Reduction

The Wildfire Resilient Landscapes and Fuels Reduction Program will fund a collection of vetted, high-priority projects identified through established and trusted wildfire risk assessments. These projects will focus on hazardous fuels reduction—such as defensible space creation, shaded fuel breaks, and roadside vegetation management to support safer evacuations—as well as wildfire prevention planning, including evacuation mapping and fuel management strategies for high-risk areas.
