Sponsorship for fire and storm damaged property restoration

A community-based initiative to restore, rebuild and renew a fire- and storm-damaged property in Mountain View, Hawaiʻi, seeking corporate sponsorship, community partnerships and volunteer participation.

The property sustained devastating damage from an initial house fire on January 15, 2025, followed by hurricanes and subsequent severe storms that further damaged the property, temporary housing and personal belongings. Rather than allowing these events to permanently prevent the restoration of the property, the initiative proposes a coordinated, phased rebuilding effort relying on corporate sponsorships, direct material contributions, donated equipment and services, professional construction assistance and volunteer participation. The objective is to restore the property, establish a safe and functional residence using the owner's proposed 40-foot high-cube container home design, and renew the surrounding property. This is a sponsorship and community partnership initiative, not a loan request or relocation proposal.

Mission: unite community resources, corporate sponsorship and volunteer participation to restore a property devastated by fire and subsequent hurricanes and storms, demonstrating how local businesses, corporate partners and neighbors can work together to accomplish meaningful restoration through shared resources, organized labor and a common purpose. Every contribution, whether materials, equipment, transportation, professional services, financial sponsorship or volunteer hours, will help move the project toward completion.
