Ridge to Reef Middle School Program

The Ridge to Reef Program connects middle school students in Hawai‘i to their local ahupua‘a (watersheds) through culturally grounded, place-based education. By combining Indigenous Knowledge and STEM learning, students engage in hands-on classroom lessons, field trips from mauka to makai, and community stewardship projects that foster environmental literacy and responsibility.
