Reducing fire risk, erosion via Acacia replacement

This project will convert degraded pasture and invasive wattle forest to native koa-dominated forest by controlling wattle and grasses and outplanting koa as the primary canopy species. Native koa provides quick growing establishment of native canopy, food sources and habitat for pollinators and a variety of native species, and reduces erosion and fire risk by capturing fog drip more effectively.
