Moʻomomi Road and Fire Break Improvements

This project will improve a critical road for Moʻomomi Preserve access and enhance its function as a firebreak. It includes digging trenches and securing the preserve gate to prevent bypass by four-wheel drive and all-terrain vehicles. These unauthorized vehicles damage dunes and deplete fisheries, threatening sensitive coastal ecosystems.
