Hazardous Fuels Reduction- 4724 HMGP project

Our team will be implementing activities to increase defensible space and reduce hazardous fuel loads in high priority areas on DOE Lahainaluna School Complex and Kamehameha Schools Lands. This project will focus on hazardous fuels mitigation, the establishment of native species based shaded fuel breaks, pilot innovative rotational and targeted grazing models to reduce fuel loads, will engage volunteers and community members for supporting program activities
