Hawaiʻi Wildfire Coordination and Action Program

Hawai‘i Wildfire Coordination & Action Program supports collaborative groups that drive cross-boundary hazard reduction and resilience projects no single agency or landowner can accomplish alone. These groups provide essential structure, technical expertise, and accountability to keep multi-partner efforts on track—bridging silos and ensuring high-priority regional work gets done. With 11 active groups and growing, the program engages agencies, land managers, utilities, community organizations, watershed partnerships, farmers, ranchers, students, and others to turn shared risk into shared action.
