Hawai'i Waterway Resilience Initiative: Restoring Streams, Rivers, and Canals to Prevent Flooding and Protect Communities through Maintenance Dredging and Recycling of Dredged Material. This initiative restores and maintains Hawai'i's streams, rivers, and canals through targeted dredging to increase hydraulic capacity, reduce flood risk, and protect residential, agricultural and commercial communities from climate driven catastrophic damage.
