Hawai’i Flood Intelligence: Measure, Engage, Adapt
Hawai‘i Flood Intelligence: Measure, Engage, Adapt will establish a statewide intelligence network that transforms real-time flood data into actionable insight both for agencies and the general public. The project will demonstrate how shared, real-time information supports adaptive planning, protects critical infrastructure, and engages communities in resilience efforts - supporting agencies such as Department of Transportation (DOT), Department of Emergency Management (DEM), Hawai‘i Emergency Management Agency (HI-EMA), and NOAA-NWS. The statewide network will deliver continuous, open data and predictive intelligence across tides, storms, tsunamis, and high-intensity rainfall, in order to improve agency and public coordination and response.
