Green fee funding for PFAS well water filtration systems

Green fee funding used for filtration systems at all water wells in Hawaii to remove PFAS for potable water

Use green fee funding to pay for filtration systems that remove PFAS from aquifer water pumped at wells for potable consumption. The systems are costly and funding should be made available so that the BWS may install a unit at each pumping station for all communities. The need was brought to the submitter's attention in their role as a Stakeholder Advisory member for BWS.
