Funding for editing of Green Educational Video Series

Support the Green Educational Video Series produced by the Green Real Estate Action Team (GREAT) Committee with Hawaii Island Realtors, a public education initiative with 11 educational videos about 1 to 1-1/2 minutes long, produced by Linda Yadao, Realtor. The initiative is designed to educate Hawaii Island residents about sustainable homeownership and practical energy-saving solutions, to educate the public on environmental stewardship and to share practical knowledge that helps reduce reliance on materials going beyond simply buying and selling homes, supporting clients and communities in creating comfortable, healthy, sustainable, and cost-efficient homes. The subjects of the videos provide a comprehensive overview of environmental challenges that are unique to Hawaii. A nonprofit fiscal sponsor has been found that agrees to collect monies through their nonprofit organization in exchange for a small fee. The videos have already been recorded. The funding source did not cover all costs as expected: the project is short $25,000 for editing each of these videos into a 1 to 1-1/2 minute videos for easy viewing.
