Funding for disaster relief language access support

Tagnawa Hawaiʻi requests funding for Language Access support for disaster relief, including in-person interpreters, translation services for communiqués and all emergency information, and resource navigation support. Many of the communities impacted by disasters are immigrant households with limited English proficiency. In emergency events, everyone deserves to understand how to prepare, what to do, and how to navigate the systems for a just recovery.
