Feral Swine Fencing & Mitigation
The Feral Swine Fencing Project is crucial in mitigating the detrimental effects of invasive feral swine on local ecosystems, agriculture, and public health, while protecting our waterways and food supplies. Known for their destructive foraging, feral swine can ruin crops, disrupt habitats, and spread diseases that threaten both wildlife and livestock. Their activities also degrade water quality, endangering public health. This project aims to build durable fencing in key areas to prevent feral swine from accessing sensitive agricultural and ecological zones. By creating effective barriers, we protect crops, restore natural habitats, and enhance our waterways, thereby improving both water quality and the recreational experiences of visitors.
