Early Detection Surveys for New Invasive Species

We conduct botanical and entomological surveys across the ‘āina searching for newly arrived invasive species. We then identify and map the species and consult with the invasive species committees to determine if eradication is possible. This invasive species early detection work is the most effective way to prevent the establishment of new pests.
