This project will support the establishment of a technical advisory group (TAG) to the EMD to promote innovation and efficiency in the identification and implementation of traditional, alternative, and innovative technologies for individual (IWS) and decentralized wastewater systems for cesspool conversion. The Project will support community and industry engagement as well as technical study/review of technologies.

    Support. A technical advisory group that speeds approval of proven alternative and decentralized systems would lower conversion costs for every homeowner. Field data from real Hawaiʻi Island installs (costs, timelines, site conditions) should feed into it, and we'd be glad to share what we see. Rahul, ʻĀina Force (rahul@ainaforce.com)
