Community led Marine Debris Clean-up

Marine debris poses a growing threat to Hawaiʻi’s marine ecosystems, endangered species, and safe ocean recreation, creating risks from entanglement, ingestion, habitat damage, and navigation hazards. State agencies, nonprofits, and community groups currently bear much of the response with limited resources.
