Climate resilience capacity building through training and knowledge sharing

Make climate resilience part of everyone's daily operation and way of thinking, using green fee funding to contribute to transforming the EXISTING built infrastructure of Hawaii and ensuring the NEW infrastructure is build resilient. Recommend equipping leaders in key agencies, county departments, private business entities and the non-profit sector with the knowledge and resources to understand how they can make a climate resilient operation part of their future. If funding allows, this should be extended to homeowners, though individuals that make decisions on future purchasing, investments and more can likely make a bigger difference than individuals. Equipping them means training sessions and events that showcase best practices and lessons learned from across the state, since knowledge sharing is key to do things that work fast.
