Atmospheric Water Generators at all emergency shelters in Hawaii

Deploy 100-gallon Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) machines that make water from air at all emergency shelters located at public schools or recreation centers across Hawaii, powered by PV/wind turbine/battery/propane generator, to give the public and tourists year-round clean filtered water during hurricane season and beyond. This would reduce residents' reliance on plastic bottles of water bought at big box stores for their 'Ohana, which contributes to plastics in the environment, and lessen dependency on an overtaxed natural aquifer water system that is laden with pesticides, PFAS, herbicides, fertilizer, and jet fuel. The Department of Defense (DOD) already has these machines at PACAF | HIEMA. No environmental EIS study is necessary in its implementation like a desalination plant. The AWG devices are manufactured throughout the globe, with manufacturers also located in the U.S.; this is an appliance for emergency shelters, schools, parks, and medical facilities, with units in all sizes from 2 gallon up to 4000-gallon machines. The customer cites the jet fuel tank spills at Red Hill since WWII and lead contamination from expended military munitions and ordinance as proof that the DOD is not a steward of 100% cleanup of the environment, notes that aquifers on every island with current or prior U.S. military presence have been compromised, and that after attending a recent Red Hill status advisory meeting in October there has been constant flushing of the water wells in that vicinity, with a study revealing that a plume of jet fuel still exists in the Aiea/Moanalua/Red Hill area. An example of a fully engineered AWG system of PV/Battery/and generator that was donated to Mau Village in Fiji by a Hawaii benefactor may be viewed at waieawaterfoundation.org
